Cedric Grimstead: RE:fastest teaching degree?what is the fastest way to earn a teaching degree
Rashad Marecki: there is no "fastest wat to earn a teaching degree" you have to at least, i think, get a bachelors degree (Depending on state and salary you want). And if you want a higher salary you can get a masters degree and earn i think about 3500-5500$ higher than a Bachelors degree. but, that depends on you state.if you live in Virginia go to this website:www.vacareerview.org and go to Choose one Cluster and select Teachers, Middle/Elementary/Secondary/Vocationalhope I helped!!!...Show more
Oscar Waddups: There is no "fastest way to earn a teaching degree" but here are some ideas that might help.If you already have a Bachelorâs degree you can apply to an alternative education program in your home state. The majority of states are seeking science, mathematics, and special education candidates. If you do not have a degree but you have work-life experience yo! u can check with universities in your state and see if they have a program by which you can get college credit for your experiences. Many private religious schools will let someone teach, provided the state is in agreement, without a degree but they are actively working on a degree. In Texas if you teach for 2 years then there is no need to complete a student teaching internship so check with your particular stateâs department of education for up-to-date information.Check with the admissions office at your local university and have them do an evaluation of the credits, if any, and see where you fit into the scheme of things. If you are interested in one of the three major need areas listed above they will practically move heaven in Earth to get you into a program. Some schools will accept CLEP test results in lieu of regular class attendance but the amount accepted varies from state to state. The CLEP score counts as a class provided it is high enough. Check with you lo! cal university to see how many credits they will accept from t! esting. Also, once you are in a program you can always ask to test out of a class provided the professor is willing. So you can complete work faster in that regard. Finally, start your classes and take the maximum load you can handle each session, go year around and you can complete a program in three years or less provided you plan a head and stick to your schedule.Good Luck ......Show more
Esmeralda Pigram: It depends on where you live. I know that Florida is very desperate for teachers. When I taught in Florida, there was a lady who was teaching and she didn't have a teaching degree or any background in it. She did have a degree in business. Actually I think she had a master's degree. She started teaching and they enrolled her in a course that she took while she was teaching. By the end of the year, she had to take the PRAXIS test that every other teacher has to take and then by that summer she had her teaching license....Show more
