Mack Ukich: You dont need anything for them to grind there teeth down. That is a my! th. Rats will grind there teeth together and this keeps them at there proper length that they need to be. The only time you have to worry about there teeth is when they have mallocolusion when there jaws dont line up and there teeth grow to long on the bottem to where they cant eat. Then you have to take them to the vet roughly about once a month and get there teeth cut down. Just telling you so you dont worry. But my girls love toilet paper rolls. My one female rat loves cat balls. I roll them in the cage and she chases them down picks them up in her mouth and brings it to me to roll again. Funniest thing I have ever seen. You can find a lot of neat things.I might give you some suggestions myself, as art is my life.Think of something you love, or like taking part in. Something that means something to you. List 5 things. Lets say you list flowers, animals, the environment, reading, and the color green. Then what you do is try to incorporate two or three of them together. (if you try more than 3, and they are very different, it will be increasingly difficult to think of ideas). Flowers for instance can be made from various things. You can tear out a page of a book and cut the petals from that and connect them for a beautiful display. Or you can look at things in nature and try to make a flower out of them. I once made a rose out of seashells and another out of pinecones. You just glue the pieces together. Look around and keep an open mind. (The rats bleed to death internally) This may just be a nervous response to a vet visit and the trauma of vomiting or it could be a reaction to something else (like an infection). I would check her temperature if possible, and keep her warm with a blanket for an hour or so while calming her and see if she stops. If she has a fever (over 101) or continues to shiver after warming/babying her, call your vet.Also if she is eating and/or drinking, it can be given a little time to re! solve on its own.
