Electric or handheld can opener?

Lon Pennington: electric

Sharie Sommerville: Electric!

Myesha Zerbe: if you are an old lady then use electic... because you might destory your hands...If you are a young chap, then use the hand held, or your own hands and teeth... (i do not recomend this option tho..)

Melvina Bieri: handheld I can turn open a can of tuna in 2.1 seconds!

Lahoma Beadell: I would choose the electric can opener. If you want one, I think they have some at walmart for $6.00.

Marquetta Gimm: i use the one touch so a handheld

Germaine Tieken: Hand held. It fits in the drawer, can go into the dishwasher and doesn't waste electricity for a simple task.

Tawny Grosskreutz: I have one of those "As seen on TV" can openers that uses a battery. It is the most wonderful opener I have ever owned.

Jammie Taddei: We have finally reached the bottom of the barrel.

Jude Colbenson: i would go for a handheld can opener, you know why ???????? you can see your ! muscles work trying to open it woooohoooo

Jed Mutone: I haven't used an electric one b4. You shouldn't be so lazy! Build some muscle....

Isaias Badgley: Hand held...I don't eat food from a can enough to keep the appliance out. It would take me longer to pull it out and plug it in just to open the one can.

Catheryn Small: i use a handheld then that way if the power goes out and u are extremly hungry or the power is out for days u can eat with an electric can opener u are not in such good shape in the eating department...

Bruno Galasso: electric

Nicolasa Henke: Electric makes time in the kitchen a tad shorter!

Elvin Weichbrodt: when we got married and moved in together, my husband insisted on an electric, which i barely could operate. i still prefer handheld, and pampered chef has a great model that reduces sharp edges!

Donnell Mollo: Both.I have had literally dozens of electric can openers of all types, brands and price ranges. The! current one is super fancy smancy. Black. Beautiful. The li! ttle kids can use 'em. I use an old hand held. It's so much less frustrating! I can never get the electric can opener and the can to stay together. The stupid things do NOT work for me. They laugh when they see me coming....Show more

Stevie Goldey: handheld, I have one that takes the lids off cans and doesn't leave any sharp edges.

Isreal Kochheiser: I tried the handheld ones...I DON"T LIKE THEM!I'll stick to electric.

Cletus Crotts: p-38 my K-bar is for special occasions

Boyce Gilhooly: Handheld.

Travis Sherrock: electric. good luck.

Alisia Sutphen: gotta go with the manual... it's a little bit of exercise in every can!

Moira Woodrow: I like electric but all I ever use is handheld. go figure! lol Thanks and have a great day!!

Inell Riesgo: Hand held.

Ginny Trickett: I figured everybody (except the frail) used manual now...surprised that so many still use electric. Thank you for the input, I can now finish my doctor! al thesis on small kitchen appliances...aaahhh
