Which of these cars would be best for a commuting college student?

Aron Ramu: All 4 cars that you mentioned would be good choices, but I have an 08 Nissan Sentra S & it's been a great car so far. I bought it in June. I'm averaging 29 mpg overall in mixed driving. The computer says I get 37 mpg on the hwy. If you have $10K, just outright buy a really good used car & eliminate having a payment. G'luck!

Jonathan Schlussel: I vote for the Civic. I just got one and it's great. Good luck!

Hugo Pittari: there is not any such element as a "risk-free" vehicle. safety has to do with the driving force, not the motor vehicle. you may get a vehicle with greater safety good factors, like airbags and whatnot, yet those issues are going to extend the cost.

Clare Hoard: get a nissan 350z or a mustang

Alexandria Popik: Also, I'm looking to buy the car (not lease). I have about $10,000 to put down, plus my trade-in. I'd like my payments to be less than $200 per month.

Derick Kinnard: If you want a car that will last foreve! r get a civic. same with the toyota, avengers look cool and so do jettas, i would go with jetta or avenger MIKE
