Luana Carothers: Simple take it to them ask them if the repairs are covered under ur warrenty have him sign a paper sayin they are or arent if so do it if not dont. Bu make sure u tell them u dont want anything done to it until u kno for sure it is covered bc u aint paying for anything that aint covered...i did this just resently at a ford garage and they tried to make me pay for them to fix the air bag problem i was having and i told them that i wasnt paying bc i was not notified of them doin the work and that i did not authorise them to do the work....Show more
Sol Bayn: It's been my personal experience that an extended warranty is NEVER worth what you've paid for it.The only worthwhile warranty is the factory warranty where the manufacturer picks up the entire tab.Extended war! ranties are nothing but a money maker for the car dealers and will never ever come close to paying for itself.Rather than buy an extended warranty, put the amount of money you would have paid for it in the bank and use it when you need repairs....Show more
Eleni Mccier: then look up the laws in your state. Call the automotive beaureue and find out what they are or talk to the attorney generals office to see if they can help. I know the shop must provide you a detailed invoice with the repairs stated in detail and you and the person taking possenssion of the car signing it. But am not familiar with how warranty work fits in on that scenario. I suggest you call other shops local to you and ask questions about how its best to protect your self. as one idea....Show more
