Houston Venezia: My PS2 has been jerking me around in a similar way recently. Maybe the laser is dirty, in which case you should get a special laser cleaning CD that is supposed to run through like an ordinary CD, whilst cleaning your laser. (you can get them at electrical appliance shops) I've never used one before, but it might be worth a try. Otherwise, take your car stereo to an electronics repair shop (if it's not too awkward to take out of your car!) and explain the situation.
Donnell Nocella: car stereos, like other cd players, get dirty and the lens loses focus over time, other things, like bumps can make the disc player lose its playing ability.Sometimes, cd players in cars have better or worse focus and pickup than other cd players. Emilie Santmyer: Hmm id say to check your forma! ts of your songs if they are recorded as mp3's of if they are wma sometimes it depends on what type of disc u use as well ;)
