Whitley Leopold: SImply put on the advertisement that it has been off the road for a year. In addition, make sure you articulate this when someone comes out to look at it.
Hong Hunkin: You have to go down to the DMV and straighten that out. It might not have been legal to stick your old plates on a new car. Mostly you have to pay the back taxes on your Chevy. When you get the title cleaned up, then you can sell it.
Maria Bengston: Sum, many states allow you to transfer plates from one car to another. In that case, you don't need to register the old one. Just sell it, and sign over the title. Why do you think you need to register, inspect and ins! ure a car you're going to sell?
Marita Stadick: Take you chances on the test drive, just make sure you go with them and they don't go more than a few blocks. Swap tags for the test drive.
