Madlyn Fallis: sometimes, the shop does something so u will come bak and spend more money! hw cruel!!!
Boris Hadsall: I use a rule of thumb that I have found accurate over the years, especially for dealer repair shops.I plan on having to take it back three times for them to get one repair right. Hasn't failed me yet. That's why I DIY when I can. I don't have callbacks....Show more
Dorethea Beaston: I paid $660. bucks to have a timing chain put on my honda at a honda dealership. They forgot to tighten the freaking bolts on the cover and one backed out and rubbed a groove in the crank pully. These dealers hire wanna be mechanics for about $6.00 per hour who don't know squat, sure there is one certified mechanic walking around watching the wanna bees. The car was back two days later to have the bolts tightened this was a 50 mile round trip for me, do I really need to say I didn't even get a sorry or a cup of coffee. This dealer charges $100.00 per hour for these w! annabees to half azz your car....Show more
Rivka Killmer: So you've spent the equivelant of a mansion on buying cars over the past 40 years? Rather than fixing the ones you do have and saving money?Matt
Brice Greczkowski: It sounds like you have yourself a dishonest repair (not surprising). It's really hard to find an honest repairman, especially an auto mechanic. Ask around, talk to everyone you meet, and ask who they use. There are still a few honest ones out there, they're just very hard to find. Good Luck!
Guy Bonamico: Yes, the more time you spend away from shops, the more problems you are ignoring.
Truman Biby: WHAT ARE YOU SAYING ?
