Brian Freedland: I think so, it gives every student a chance to be heard. I don't feel it would be fair just to pick random kids, and i'm sure other students feel the same way.
Shaunta Paap: I did in basic terms slightly of analyzing in this based on your question. i could not rather get a good answer, yet my feeling is that that is a forte college for college young toddlers with interest interior the humanities. considering, appropriate i will tell, there is an "open enrollment" coverage in Ohio, or a minimum of interior the Akron section, i think any toddler could be known or rejected to any college (this is why 2d and third alternatives are positioned on open enrollment applications, back, close to as i will tell). i think of in maximum states "forte colleges" like this might often set regulations of attractiveness and denial. as a result, an audition is definitely no distinctive than having to place in writing an essay as component to your admission standards. Keven Drumgole: This is a performing arts middle school - so.. yes. They should hold auditions. It should be 'special' to be accepted, otherwise, the school is not dealing with kids who love performing, they are dealing with kids who are no differently interested than regular middle school kids.Performing arts is tough, but wonderful. Arts schools want to attract the motivated, talented kids. Allowing everyone to attend (even if they are not motivated or talented) negatively affects the students who are passionate about the arts....Show more
