Dexter Gold: Even if there are states that don't require- HUD requires appraisers & realtors to have it. I am a mortgage lender & we can't use an appraiser unless they have it.
Caleb Chapman: Appraisers E&O is not required by any state that I know of. Its the lenders that require it and want a copy on file prior to them ordering the appraisal
